Do you live and breathe life on the water? We are looking for an Aquatic Adventure Facilitator to join our team at Manly Kayak Centre!

You’ll be at the heart of the action at Manly Kayak Centre, guiding kayaking and SUP experiences, delivering engaging briefings, and helping guests explore Sydney Harbour safely. Alongside on-water activities, you’ll support events, host and activate our MLC deck, manage equipment, and assist with day-to-day operations to ensure every experience runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. 

If you have a flair for leading water-based adventures, hands-on managerial experience, and a drive to deliver exceptional guest experiences, this is your chance to dive into an exciting role with real opportunity for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and engage guests, ensuring fun, safe, and memorable experiences
• Lead kayaking, SUP, and other activity briefings; adapt tours to conditions and abilities
• Host and activate the Manly Lifestyle Club (MLC) deck, working alongside the Felons bar team to bring the space to life — serving food and beverages, creating a relaxed beachside atmosphere, and delivering a high-quality waterfront experience
• Support private events, picnics, and special setups
• Conduct safety checks, monitor weather/water conditions, and follow emergency procedures
• Report and conduct equipment maintenance and repairs
• Manage bookings, payments, waivers, and respond to enquiries professionally
• Contribute to team briefings, support colleagues, and maintain a safe, organised work environment

What We Are Looking For:

• Boat licence and confidence on the water
• Managerial experience or a clear desire to grow into an operations management role
• Hands-on, autonomous, and energetic approach to work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Competent with admin tasks including phones, inbox, and booking systems
• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• RSA Licence
