We are on the lookout for a Trade Assistant to join our team and support the ongoing maintenance and presentation of one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront precincts.

Owned and operated by hospitality and tourism specialists Artemus Group, Manly Wharf is Sydney’s blends heritage charm with a vibrant community spirit. Artemus Group has a history of delivering world-class dining and entertainment experiences while revitalising beloved waterfront locations.

A hub for both locals and visitors, the Manly Wharf precinct offers a variety of dining options, stunning harbour views, and a lively atmosphere that reflects the creative and diverse community of the Northern Beaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Maintenance Manager with maintenance, repair, and minor construction works across buildings, structures, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
  • Identify, report, and assist in rectifying defects, hazards, and asset failures
  • Work safely in live operational environments, minimising disruption to venues, events, and public access
  • Comply with WHS, environmental, and heritage requirements at all times
  • Use tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working order
  • Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used, and issues identified
  • Communicate effectively with site teams and managers regarding works undertaken


What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in maintenance environments
  • Strong practical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve on site
  • Understanding of WHS requirements in construction and maintenance settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Availability across Monday to Friday is required for this role
